Running a gun serial number search is essential if you’re looking to buy a used gun from an individual or a dealer. While it is illegal for dealers to sell guns that have been lost, stolen or used in a crime and wanted by the police, it can happen. Luis Rossi began experimenting with clarinet design and building in the late 1980's. Rossi instruments feature hand-carved thumb rests, split register vent/throat Bb key, and all the other standard features of Rossi clarinets. Nov 01, 2013 There seems to be a number of Rossi model numbers of yesteryear, that seem to be quality pieces, that seem to have never be in the mass media or in print. Not that can be found easy. Google seems to be the big yes it exists conformation source. Oct 11, 2010 Interarms A. Rossi Model 92.38 special /.357 Magnum. Registered Users do not see the above ad. Hello to all. Now I know that it's not an original Winchester or Marlin with the Serial Numbers etched on it. Although I do not use a scope on a Rossi, about the only mount I know of for one has recently been announced by the Puma. I have an Amadeo Rosssi SA 38 special made in Brasil by Inter Arms, Alexandria, Viginia. M685 and K724 are stamped inside the cylinder release. Can you tell.
Hello to all;
Well like many others, who live in the state of Indiana, I to just purchased a .357 Magnum Rifle.
My choice was the one by; Interarms. A model 92 SRC. ( Side Ring Carbine ) .38 Special / .357 Magnum W/ 20' barrel, with Nickle plated receiver, Factory Engraving and made in Brazil.
It was NIB, with warranty card, owners manual, and loaded with as much of the manufactures cosmoline that these Brazilians could smuggle out of the country at the time.
This is NOT one of the new PUMA'S shipped by Legacy Arms. This weapon was manufactured approximately 30 years ago in the mid to late 70's. It's in pristine condition, and it's never been fired.
The reason I purchased this weapon is because NEW for Jan. 2008 Indiana hunters can
now deer hunt useing a .357 rifle as long as bullet & cartridge does not exceed 1.625' (Any disagreements to what I'm reading right off the card please call DNR at: 1-756-447-9582).
Soooooooo, I purchased this rifle with grandeur dreams of bagging a 220 LB. buck this year.......... as long as it's within 80 to 100 yards.
Not to mention the price was right in line to what I found in the rear of my sofa.
Now I know that it's not an original Winchester or Marlin with the Serial Numbers 0000000001 etched on it.
And I know that I didn't get to pay $176,280.00 (Record High Bid for One ). at an auction.
However, I do know that I'm now the proud owner of a brand new (never been fired) rifle that I didn't have to empty my savings account for or refinance my home for.
And when I pull the trigger, I'm sure the game I'm shooting won't know if it's being shot by a Winchester, Marlin, Henry, Browning, Savage, Ruger, or a Uberti.
Because As They Say; .......... 'Dead Is Dead'.
Now, with that out of the way.
The reason I'm writing is to find out as much information from any one who has a ~ LEVER ACTION RIFLE WITH A SCOPE MOUNTED ON IT. ~
( And before I get all the lectures about a scope being mounted on a lever action rifle.
I'll just say; 'It's not because I want to, It's because of an eye condition, I have to'. )
I'm looking for information from anyone, on the type of Mount, Rings, and Scope along with it's power that you used on your lever action rifle and if you are, or are not satisfied with your decision on the magnification of your scope.
I've been told to stay with a 2 x fixed scope for mine. Just seems kind of low, like what's the point of using a scope.
Any information you can give would and will be appreciated.
Thanks, ' The Union Carpenter '

About[edit]
In the 1970s Rossis began to be distributed in the United States by Interarms Virginia. This continued until 1997, when Rossi founded BrazTech, their own subsidiary representative in North America . Their revolvers had great popularity in the United States, Canada and some countries in Europe.[3][4]
The production line of revolvers and handguns was acquired by Taurus. Rossi currently produces only hunting rifles, shotguns and traditional line of Puma rifles. It also has a line of own airgun, known as Rossi Dione.

Since 2010, Rossi no longer produces firearms for sale in the Brazilian market,[5] and dedicates itself exclusively to the importation and distribution of airguns and airsoft, a sport that remains popular in Brazil since its legalization. Rossi guns can still be found in the foreign market, made by Amadeo Rossi (exclusively for export) or by Taurus.
In Brazil Rossi distributes the airgun brands Beeman, Hatsan, SAG, Zoraki, Crossman, among others, besides airsofts brands HFC, CQB, Swiss Arms and Crossman.
